The separate applications of sub-brands, has led to customer confusion and created challenges for cohesive branding.
Strategy
Unify all sub-brands under a single platform: One Ford App. This approach aims to streamline customer interactions, create brand consistency, and simplify the purchasing and service journey.
My Contribution
During my internship, I contributed to developing and refining components for the design system, ensuring consistency and usability across the user experience. Take the buttons, for example.
I also developed and refined other components, and wrote guidelines for them.
Branding
While unifying the experience is essential, it’s equally important to allow customers to distinguish between the sub-brands. I achieved this by incorporating unique visual elements, aligned with each sub-brand's style, for the backgrounds and buttons.
